Coprodirect
Copro Records, one of the UK's hardest hitting underground record labels, contacted us to help them build an e-commerce solution for their mail order arm, Copro Direct.
With over 50,000 titles in stock on any given day, an essential requirement was the ability to import their Excel stocklists directly into the site.
In addition to this, we made use of a number of music information API's including LastFM and MusicBrainz to automatically find and save images and information about each product.
CBSYS
Computerised Business Systems, an IT company based in Manchester, needed a custom built content management system to replace their heavily hacked Joomla setup.
It was essential to the project to allow complete editorial control of every single element of the site via an administration interface. In addition a full visual redesign was required.
Quick Thrill Productions
Quick Thrill Productions, a London based theatre company, originally contacted us in early 2008 to build a comprehensive site covering their productions, actors and performances. In 2009 however they asked us to build a stripped-down version of the site reflecting their changing business model.
A main requirement of this project was to create an editable "scrapbook" style media section, where images can be uploaded, arranged in 3 dimensions and combined with editable text elements. We created a Jquery based interface to allow exactly this behaviour.
Goldman Sterling
Goldman Sterling, a pawnbroking company based in Manchester, contacted us to build for them an online pawnbroking and gold sales system.
The system had to allow account management for customers as well as administrators, and be able to track the status of orders. We also added a simple content management system, making updating daily exchange rates as simple as possible.
Island Governors
The Isle of Wight Governors Association contacted us to build them a content management system that would allow school governors and parents to keep up-to-date with the latest news and developments regarding Island schools.
The brief called for a clean, accessible, easy to navigate design. We also built a very easy to use content management system to give the administrators full control of the content on the site.
Symphony Cult
Symphony Cult, rising stars in the UK rock/metal scene, required a website, forum, webstore and myspace page makeover.
It was essential that the band could update and maintain the site easily, adding photos, mp3's, news and tour dates. We built a PHP based content management system allowing full control of the site, and created a theme that could be used across the different elements of the project.
